How do I post to the PPS discussion forums?
To create a new post or reply to an existing post, you should first log in to the PPS website. If you try to post without logging in, you will be directed immediately to the log in page. If you don't have an account with us yet, registration is free and easy!
What is email notification?
You can choose to subscribe to email notification for any forum or post, which enables you to keep track of discussions without visiting the PPS website. When you subscribe, you will receive emails informing you of changes to that forum or post. You can then reply to those emails, and your response will be posted to the appropriate discussion thread.
How can I manage my email notifications?
To change your email notifications, first make sure you are logged in to the PPS website, then go to http://www2.pps.org/notifications/manage. You can also access this page by clicking on the "Your Account" link in the upper right corner, and then selecting "Manage your notifications."
Can I add an image to my post?
Photos can be added to your forum post, although you cannot paste an image into the text box. To add an image, click on the 'insert image' icon in the text editing box. If you are adding an image that is on the web, enter the URL of the image, and click 'preview.' If you are adding an image that is on your hard drive, click the 'open folder' button, and select 'browse' to find and upload your image. Once you've uploaded your image to the folder, click on the image you want to add, and then select 'OK.'
What are the rules of the forums?
We ask that participants refrain from behavior that discourages the participation of others, such as monopolizing the use of a forum to advance a personal agenda. Forum participants should maintain a civil discourse and avoid obscene or offensive language. Overly solicitous posts, especially ones deemed to have little value to other participants, will be deleted. Forum moderators reserve the right to ban users who repeatedly violate these rules or the intent behind them.
